Arrived to Egypt

AHL i finally arrived to Egypt for a visit that will last until 20th of October 2008, i met my family and couple of friends, i went to Global Impact today :) i met all my colleagues there it was a GREAT day AHL :)

Nice 'Eftar' at Hosni - Kuwait

We had a nice eftar at Hosni-Kuwait yesterday, it was me, Maged , Atef , Shokr , Emad and Tameem, we went there @ 5:00pm , the meat was nice but the sea-food was not good at all :( , anyway it was a nice day



After i returned i continued to play Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS 4) , i met Luquid :) but he escaped and then i'm not battleing with the last boss .. the Screaming Mantis

Back again after second absence

I'm back again and ISA this time I'll try to update my blog frequently, what happened last two months is finally i got my driving license which has a story that I'll tell later ISA , i started to rent cares to practice a little bit, now I'm back to SafatES office again managing my team of 7 system analysts from there, I've installed the Microsoft EPM finally and ISA everything will be centralized



No i'm preparing to go to Egypt for a visit, my flight is on 22/9/2008 and i'll return to kuwait at 20/10 ISA,Got may things to finalize before leaving, mostly work related

And now it is Ramdan , Ramdan here is really boring if you compare it to Egypt :), You can't find the decorations in the streets, the Konafa and Atayef guys, and ppl visiting each other at the eftar time, really this country is the same ramdan as no-ramdan

i've spending my time in Salah, Tarawe7 , Quran and i'm playing Metal Gear Solid 4, and to talk about metal gear solid 4 i need a whole blog, to be brief this game is amazing, it defines perfection in gaming and the long in-game cut scenes really makes you feel that you are in a movie not a game the charachter models, the music ... everything is polished and taken-care of



I'm really in love with this game :)

Back after a long absence

Hey everyone and zero,well i'm back after a while, now i'm working as a project manager for a system analysis team at NBK as a contract from SafatES, well it is a totally different project , new people and new challenges, i wish i can do that job as i got tough management tracking and challenging bank staff

Well about my life, nothing new, just i'm taking driving lessons as to be prepared for the driving license test soon

Other than that ... just passing time ... gaming ... reading and chilling

Knock knock ...

Last week a new colleague from the team i hired has joined my flat after Jeryes left, i'm trying to build the .NET team now , i got 3 from Egypt and i wanna get 2 others from Asia soon, these days has been so boring i'm consumed in making stupid templates and next well i'll start the Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) 2007 from Microsoft , for a whole week i'll be working from 8:30am-5:30pm then 6:00pm-9pm .. daily

i wonder if i can afford this but i really want to get my self more familiar with this project management tools as it will fix a lot of issues we are having in the company ...

thats all for these boring days

This post is dedicated to Usman, Usman is a 32 years old guy, he joined the company one month ago, his role is an SOA architect,since he came we became friends very quickly, he is a very nice guy, ambitious,religious ,has a good deal of knowledge in SOA and enterprise solutions, but what really matters is we got some stuff in common like music tastes, point of views and stuff like that

Now we are running on daily basis to fight the weight gaining nightmare we are living in :), we help each other in many stuff not only sporty stuff, but in daily issues and life

I'm really glad to have someone like Usman in my life, and i wish we can be friends and brothers for ever Inshallah

Jeryes left the company :(

Today i'm really upset,my flat-mate jeryes left the company without any reason,damn thos management, i don't know how anyone can just fire someone for now reason or from a peronsal perspective ??? this is a reaaly poor man , got a huge amounts of debt and he is married with a kid whom hasn't completed his first 3 monthes yet ...

I really feel so sorry for him and we are all looking for a job for him here, it is hell hard, but there is no other option, he only got 2 weeks before his visa will be expired, i don't know if we can make it or not before this times come.

I've managed to create a new CV for him and he is searching for jobs every day in kuwait city, may god be with him really

who knows may be i'm next, i'm really feeling insecure and unstable ... damn those managers

A Nightmare or a dream ?

This post is about a strange night i had today as i woke up like i'm in different world and sensation, Well today i went to run with Usman for like 30 min and after i returned i checked the news on Google Reader and i was so tired, i tried to resist by i couldn't and fall asleep, i had a long dream it was like a flash back to all my life , and it was REALLY Long , whats strange , i was just having like 20-30 minutes in every period of my life like , primary school, preparatory school , secondary school and the faculty

i was revisiting each period and interacting with my colleagues and other people but with today's mentality, wow it is sooo strange, like uh .. if I'm with this mentality and those people things could have changed, decisions have been altered,friends might be different ...

there is many happy ,fighting and sad incidents that makes me confused, is this a dream ? or nightmare ? and why today ? whats the relation

I'm sure these stuff is related to some incidents that happens in my daily life now, but things seems normal. i go to my boring work,getting back,surfing the internet or doing any other activity like cleaning,eating,sleeping,gaming and chilling ....

i really have to analyze more to figure it out

and what's funny is that i woke up like 5am in the morning and found that i got a recommendation for a song to listen on last.fm profile from a friend there that i was looking for it for soooooooo long time because i wasn't aware of the song title or the artist , i just listened to it when i was child and enjoyed it very much , song is "Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up"



and this one too "Rick Astley - Together Forever"



The point is .. why today ? .. i love 80s and i have been missing this era so much .. but there is something happening today that i can't figure out .. may be the upcoming days will reveal more

... Sandstorm ...

Well it seems that the desert lands has it is own climate, two days i go i witnessed the first sand storm ever , it was strong and made many damages to streets and kiosks, it was GREAT :D (for watching from behind) , you just feel like Allah has been spilling his rage on the people it lasted like 15-20 minutes and after that it was followed by a huuuuuuuuuuuge amount of lighting and thunder and of course the happy ending at the end .. RAIN

WOOOOW this day is one of the most memorable days of my life , i love this nasty weather conditions, if feel alive , as long as there is no destruction for my properties and stuff :P

and that is a video i recorded when i went out after praying Maghrib with Wessam with nice lightening(wow i love lightening) , this one lasted for like 20 minutes



I was just told by my dear colleague Usman that he was going out this day and his life was saved as they just went out of the car with his friend for shopping and then an advertising tower fell on their car to smash it ... i told him you should pray 90898789789789798 times a day for this life saving and thank you mother too :)

Today I've activated my OpenID on Yahoo, So what is open ID? what problems does it solves?, rather than me copying and pasting in my blog entry , try to check this site

i was using something similar for Microsoft Sites called (Live ID) it is a single sign-on solution that save you the trouble from registering with several user names and passwords into different sites , so there will be one account for all sites (for technical people it is a unified authentication mechanism)

I was crying for something like this for ages, because i was sick of creating a new account for every web site I'm interested in

Accommodation Progress

Alhmdu Le Allah, after two months i finished my papers of accommodation , i got my accommodate ID card and opened an account i n bank called KFH , now things is beginning o get somehow more stable , i'm still in a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad need of car this county doesn't have means of transportation , Taxis are few and very expensive, and here everything to get need a long trip , nothing is near but some small supermarkets and restaurants




I KNOW .. i look Horrible but this is a long story, when i was in Egypt the executive secretary told me to take 32 pictures 4x6 (YES 32 for paper work) with your face occupying 70% of the picture and with a blank background, i was shocked but i did it, and after i got them here in kuwiat, they were refused!!!!! , Why ? (I kept saying insults after i knewthe reasons and i think you will too)

They were refused becuause i was SMILING and wearing GLASSES

So i did swear that i'll give them a horrible photo and i did ;)

At this moment i began to realize how this country is soo silly and annoying , and guess what it was just the beginning, then i went to make the medical checks waiting in long queues with all labour people from all countries, it was a heck of a gathering there, Indians,Pakistanis,Sirilankans,Kashmeers,Bangals,Chineseas,Philippines .. and ppl from Jordan,Lebanon and other arab countries,Thanks go to Allah it finished in one day tripping from a hospital to another .....

My Flat - Salmya

So what happens? , when the plane landed after a tiring trip by the plane,In Kuwait Airport, i was picked by Eng.Wessam (ma savior) :) and the company assistant .. they took me to the flat, in district called Salmya , anyway thats the actual address

Hi everyone .. i've decided to make this blog my personal web diary of what is happening in my life , for me to remember after years or for any of my friends who is interested ....

Brief of what happen the last year
For the record now i'm in Kuwait ... i left my sweet company Global Impact after a year of struggle with my issues and hesitating , Global Impact is so precious to me ,i was involved into the development of the company progressing from a small company working chaotically to a mature organization [CMM qualified :) )]

I booked a flight on air ways called Al Jazzera Air Ways

I was struggling with my life trying to keep on moving but it seems Egypt has another plan to break my plans , i have to leave now after some financial issues and the crazy expensive life that keep on increasing in a rate that is faster than my rate .....

So i took the decision , i was hurt badly leaving my family,friends and workplace, to head to the stupid gulf were all people just go for money making ,chaos work environment and peope that may kill thier father and step on your head at work for a $ ....

Now i'm working in a company called Safat Enterprise Solutions (SafatES for short) that provide IT consulting , resources and solution developments services, it has been 2.5 months now ..

I'm really struggling with life here because i've got no friends close only me dear friend Maged who got me the offer here , but he is too busy because he is just married :) , Also a i got a great help from my relative here Eng.Wessam Said - Construction Manager he really supported me a lot since i got here , i'll be in his debt for ever

Well thats for today .. i'll try to post at max on a weekly basis for all interesting info
